From Smithfield in the City of Cairns, to Atherton on the Tableland, through Tropical Rain forests and Wetlands and the endless red dust of the Australian Outback. Ride 793klms of rough rugged terrain, encountering river crossings, mud, mountains, steep hills, rocks and
more dust than you could imagine. Camp at Lake Tinaroo, Irvinbank and Mt Mulligan a real 28,000 ha working cattle station. Ride through the old gold towns of Maytown and Mainland Downs, Laura and see Quinkan Aboriginal rock art and spectacular sandstone country. Drop in at Hope Vale, the home of NRL Australian football legend Mattie Bowen. Before finishing the race at Cooktown, the first of Captain Cook when discovering Australia in 1770.
